Job Title: Jr. Graphic Designer
Department: Marketing
Job Summary: The Jr. Graphic Designer will apply digital art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials.
Position Type:
- 3/4 -time (30-35 hours per week)
- Full-time (37-40 hours per week)
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design various materials for print and digital collateral for marketing and advertising purposes
- New product concept designs
- Conduct the design process of print and digital graphics
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications given by Creative Marketing Manager
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling content and digital experiences for visually sophisticated, as well as tech challenged audiences
- Create marketing materials for shops and distributors
- Prepare print files for final formatting and review final proofs for errors and ensure that final prints reflect expectations
- Maintain brand consistency
- Collaborate with the team to assure creative needs of the company are met
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred
- At least 3 years of related work experience is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
