HR Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and FMLA administration. The HR Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR policies and practices align with organizational goals and applicable employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment and serve as a liaison with benefits providers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Support payroll by maintaining employee data and processing personnel changes.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of human resources experience.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent).
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with Ceridan/Dayforce
