We are an established law firm with offices across California. We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced Business Real Estate team in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have both estate planning and litigation experience with a strong client service skillset and is willing to expand their expertise into additional practice areas beyond estate planning.

Compensation: $150k-$225k/annually Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized legal representation to clients, assessing the unique needs and issues of each clients and drafting customized documents for them
- Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business
- Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees in order to increase firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry
- Represent the firm internally and externally
- Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- J.D. and an active California Bar license
- 5 years’ experience as a licensed California attorney
- Significant Estate planning experience required
- Strong legal research and writing skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to manage a heavy caseload
- Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently
- Must be a self-starter and comfortable appearing before the Court
- Organized and able to communicate respectfully with others
- Willing to present seminars and webinars
The following qualifications are preferred:
- State Bar Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law certification
- Litigation experience
- Partial book of business a plus
Schedule:
Position is full-time, exempt. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.
We currently offer a hybrid/in-office/remote work model for select positions within the Firm. New hire employees who are offered a hybrid schedule will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a hybrid/remote schedule, subject to approval by their supervisor.
