High Level Role Statement: The high-volume operator will ensure that all assemblies are produced, inspected and packaged for shipment for in accordance with the documented KETA and customer requirements on the high-volume production lines.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform various fast paced electronic assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies that will consist of the following:
- Interpreting and adhering to all documented KEI and customer specific processes and work instructions
- Performing visual inspections to ensure quality levels at various states of production.
- Operating automated equipment to prescribed steps and work instructions
- Using hand tools both automated and manual to assemble product
This role will require the following abilities:
- Must possess hand eye coordination to meet the high pace efficiencies, quality and scrap guidelines required of the high volume line
- Be able to support and adhere to our safety, quality and 5S policies and procedures
- Provide clear communication to supervisors and co-workers, regarding defect findings, process, visual aid, and ergonomic opportunity improvements, etc.
- Ability to complete MRB tags and segregate non-conforming material.
- Able to keep work area clean and pursue continuous improvements
- Be willing to perform additional duties as assigned
