Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: Starting pay rate of $17.00 - $17.68, actual wage adjusted based on experience
- Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available
Job Summary:
The barback works closely with bartenders and ensures that they have everything they need to serve customers efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for keeping the bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist bartenders with bar set up and break down
- Refill ice wells
- Switch out kegs
- Keep bar stocked with liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, etc.
- Anticipate bartender needs and restock items before they are out
- Ensure glassware and bartending tools are clean and in the proper place
- Ensure cleanliness- take out trash, mop spills, wipe down surfaces, etc.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. consistently
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to work in fast paced, high volume atmosphere
- Must be extremely organized
- Must have excellent customer service skills
