We're hiring a full-time Associate Attorney in Jacksonville (hybrid, with work-from-home flexibility) to support matters across special and community development districts, public finance, construction, real estate, and related regulatory and transactional work.

What you'll do

• Conduct rigorous legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law governing special districts, public finance, land use, and local government.
• Draft and review contracts, transactional documents, resolutions, memoranda, and legal opinions that translate complex statutory schemes into clear, actionable guidance.
• Support public hearings, board governance questions, validation proceedings, rulemaking, and interactions with governmental entities.
• Assist with negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Work closely with partners and clients to deliver practical, business-oriented solutions and to produce filing-ready work product.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida license (or eligibility for prompt admission to The Florida Bar).
• Strong academic credentials; preference for top-15% class ranking and graduation from a rigorous program.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills, including proficiency with standard research platforms and the ability to synthesize findings into concise, well-structured writing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with verifiable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Sound judgment, strong client-counseling instincts, and high ethical and professional standards.
• Interest or experience in special districts, public finance, land use, construction, or local government law preferred but not required.
