A well-established suburban Philadelphia medical malpractice defense firm is seeking a full-time experienced attorney to join our busy and collegial litigation practice. This position is ideal for an attorney who is looking to grow their litigation skills in a supportive, professional environment while working on sophisticated medical malpractice matters.
The ideal candidate must have 5 years prior litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice, personal injury, or insurance defense, and must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. We value attorneys who are motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage their work independently, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
· Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
· Motion practice and legal research
· Reviewing and analyzing medical records
· Assisting with case strategy and preparation
· Attending court appearances, depositions, and other proceedings as needed
Qualifications:
· Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required)
· Prior litigation experience preferred
· Strong legal research and writing skills
· Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
· Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product
