Kiki de Montparnasse is seeking Summer 2026 interns to assist within our Showroom and NYC Atelier.
Beautifully crafted using the highest quality materials, Kiki de Montparnasse offers inspired lingerie, ready-to-wear and more, all created with exploration, liberation and seduction in mind. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team and help the product development and design team. This internship is unpaid and for school credit.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be highly motivated and driven, detail-oriented, organized, and have a positive work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
Dedicate 2 - 3 full work days per week
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Support the development/design team as well as the rest of our team as needed
- Counter-sourcing fabric/trims with agents/mills and at local stores
- Gathering & distributing raw goods/materials to our factories in the garment district as well as our in-house atelier
- Maintaining sample and production inventory of all fabrics and trims
- Organizing and maintaining all samples and patterns, as well as fabric/trim/pattern closets
- Corresponding between the product development/ design team, and our factories (in-house atelier as well as midtown and overseas factories)
- Assisting with quality control as needed
- Organizing fit samples, and maintaining an inventory of samples on hand
- Helping to maintain the studio, design/development racks, and design/development closet
- Assisting with graphic design
- Assisting with photoshoots
- Assisting with line plans, BOMs, fabric/trim sheets
- Work closely with the design team on developing new collections
- Assist with RLM (style entry, fabric entry, BOM entry, and updating styles and BOMs as needed)
- Assisting with creating and maintaining accurate BOMs for all styles
- Attend and help prepare for fit sessions, including organizing fit samples, tracking comments, and helping document revisions
- Support sample tracking for development
