Your Role at KIK
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality systems that ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This role coordinates quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process, including raw material verification, in-process inspections, finished product testing, documentation control, and corrective action follow-up.
The Quality Assurance Supervisor works closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Regulatory teams to promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance within a chemical manufacturing environment.

Your Role at KIK
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality systems that ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This role coordinates quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process, including raw material verification, in-process inspections, finished product testing, documentation control, and corrective action follow-up.
The Quality Assurance Supervisor works closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Regulatory teams to promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance within a chemical manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate daily quality assurance activities, including raw material inspections, in-process monitoring, finished product evaluations, and release documentation
- Perform and document quality testing of pool chemical products and raw materials according to established specifications, test methods, and quality standards
- Maintain quality records, batch documentation, certificates of analysis (COAs), product retention samples, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, non-conforming materials, and process deviations; support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Review production records and quality data to verify compliance with product specifications, GMP principles, and internal quality procedures
- Support internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and quality management system requirements
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure proper material identification, lot traceability, inventory control, and product disposition decisions
- Monitor quality performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency
- Assist with document control activities, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, specifications, and training records
- Support implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and compliance
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 or more years of quality assurance, quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing experience
- Experience in chemical manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, water treatment, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience with quality management systems, audits, and corrective action processes
- Understanding of quality assurance principles, statistical process control, and root cause analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and laboratory testing procedures preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, DOT, GMP, ISO 9001, or similar regulatory and quality standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience working with SAP, LIMS, or quality management systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in both laboratory and manufacturing environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the facility
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and respiratory protection when required
- Ability to work around chemical manufacturing processes and materials safely
