What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Automation Controls Technician position at KIK Consumer Products?
Build and sustain the systems that keep everyday essentials flowing
It’s 6:55 AM and the first shift is coming online. A packaging line signals a sensor fault; you trace it to a misaligned photoeye, correct the logic in the HMI, and restore throughput in minutes. By mid-morning you’re optimizing a PLC routine to trim cycle time, then collaborating with production and engineering to commission a new VFD. That’s a typical day for an Industrial Automation Controls Technician at KIK Consumer Products.
Your role
On our 1st shift team, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial control and automation assets across a high-volume manufacturing environment—ensuring reliability, safety, and performance.
What you’ll do
1st shift position. Hourly pay range: $30.00–$33.00 per hour. $3,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for a 3% quarterly incentive bonus. Overall compensation is negotiable based on your experience and skill set.
Benefits
Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits—medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Plan for the future with retirement savings options including employer match. We also support continued learning with Education Assistance to promote growth and development.
