Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners during their formative years. Duties

• Assist Lead Teacher with classroom activities and manage daily schedules to ensure a balanced mix of play, learning, and rest tailored to toddler needs
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning
• Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Collaborate with specialists in special education and early intervention to support children with diverse needs
• Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly

Requirements

• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
• Valid TB Test (Within a year)
• At least 1 year of early childcare experience in a licensed facility
• Previous work experience with children on the spectrum
• Available to work weekends/holidays when needed since we are a 24 hour, 7 days a week childcare center (never close)
• Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, with demonstrated classroom management skills
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, toddler care practices, and early childhood education standards
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies for toddlers
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and external professionals
• Ability to lead a team of educators with enthusiasm while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in early childhood settings

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
