Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes social-emotional learning.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators in planning interdisciplinary activities that enhance the educational experience.
- Support children’s welfare by recognizing signs of distress or developmental challenges and implementing appropriate interventions.
Requirements
- Edu 119, cpr and first aid
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts and other core subjects while catering to individual student needs.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and promotes equity among all students.
- Must be patient, compassionate, and adaptable in response to the dynamic needs of children.
