What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager For Foster Agency position at Kidz Thrive Child Placing Agency?
To manage a caseload of foster children and acting as a resource to the foster child and his/her foster family and act as a liaison between the referring agency, the child and the community.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred. Recommended to have at least three years of documented full-time experience in a child-placing agency setting; an ability to assess the needs of the children and develop an appropriate service plan; recommended training in the development of treatment plans for clients; an ability to confront clients, foster parents, biological parents, etc.; counseling skills; interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; an ability to work independently and time management skills.
