Job Overview
All Kids First Child Placing Agency is seeking a youth-focused and dedicated Case Manager to join our team in providing exceptional services for foster children and families. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, well-being, and stability of children in foster care by working closely with foster families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of foster children and families, conducting regular home visits and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISP's) tailored to each child's needs.
- Collaborate with foster families, medical professionals, schools, and other community resources.
- Monitor placements to ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and agency policies.
- Provide crisis intervention, guidance, and support to foster families as needed.
- Maintain true, accurate and up to date documentation in accordance with state and agency guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies regarding foster homes and foster children's personal information.
- Other related duties are assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in case management or child welfare services preferred.
- Knowledge of Texas DFPS Minimum Standards and Child Placing Agency operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and Case Management software.
- Experience with "Casebooks" is a HUGE plus.
- Must have a Drivers License and reliable Transportation.
