Daycare Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met while promoting positive interactions and learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere for both children and staff.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Foster an inclusive environment for children with disabilities or special needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings is essential.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special education backgrounds is a plus.
• Skills in classroom management, caregiving, teaching, or nannying are beneficial.
• First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children under care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
