We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Provider to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and play
- Assist with meal times, diapering, nap times, and other routine care tasks
- Monitor children's behavior and implement positive behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care standards and classroom management
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Certification in first aid and CPR preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Background in special education or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
