The Senior Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership for the Human Resources Division of KidsTLC. Senior Director of Human Resources (Full Time)

Human Resources Leadership
- Lead daily operations of the Human Resources Division.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Provide leadership and supervision to HR staff and related personnel functions.
- Promote a positive, mission-driven organizational culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Develop strategies to address staffing shortages and workforce challenges.
- Monitor labor market trends and recommend competitive recruitment practices.
- Provide guidance and consultation to leaders regarding employee relations matters.
- Oversee performance management systems, corrective action processes, and employee coaching initiatives.
- Support conflict resolution and promote consistent employment practices across departments.
- Coordinate routine workplace investigations and partner with the CAO on high-risk or sensitive matters.
- Administer compensation structures, salary administration, and HR operational systems.
- Ensure HR compliance with applicable employment laws, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Oversee leave administration, HRIS systems, personnel records, and HR reporting.
- Support benefits administration in collaboration with the CAO and benefits partners.
- Support employee training, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop programs that improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Promote leadership development and employee accountability throughout the organization.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to organizational leadership regarding workforce issues and HR best practices.
- Participate in organizational committees, strategic planning initiatives, and executive projects as assigned.
- Directly supervises Human Resources staff and related personnel functions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR leadership experience required.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, or nonprofit environments preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, coaching, and workforce development skills.
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR operations, employee relations, and compliance practices.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with employees, leaders, clients, and external partners.
- Self-directed and professional when managing competing priorities, crisis situations, or workplace conflict.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply employment-related documentation, policies, contracts, and records.
- Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Uses sound judgment to analyze information, resolve problems, and make timely decisions.
- Maintains professionalism, composure, and collaboration when addressing complex or sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and web-based systems.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must have adequate vision and mobility to perform essential job functions.
