PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will assist in providing medication management services through the Lotus Medication Management program. This role will be responsible for implementing daily tasks within the program including intake of new clients, scheduling appointments, assisting in medication refills, and other tasks associated with the program. This role may also provide resource support for both KidsTLC’s community, clients, and their families as well as families in the community at large with their health care, including mental and behavioral health and basic living needs.Services will be individualized and provided in the most appropriate setting, in a timely fashion, in accordance with best practices and the CNA Code of Ethics, all without prejudice.
Tasks will be performed under the direction of KidsTLC’s Lotus Office Administrator and the Medication Management Provider. Efficacy will be assessed with reports and evaluations regarding both qualitative and quantitative data, both from within the agency and from client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Implements Medication Management operations, including workflow for scheduling, appointments, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and general resource navigation. This will also include intake profiles, assessments, and documentation packets for new outpatient clients.
· Ensures that customer service standards are met.
· Collaborate with nurses, therapists, doctors, and leadership.
· Make sure regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed.
· Uses software for electronic medical records (EMR), refill orders, scheduling, and reporting.
· Collaborate with Intake, Billing departments, and other Lotus Programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Completion of an accredited CNA/CMA.
Candidate must have a clear criminal history.
Prior experience in a direct patient care setting is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize assignments and execute tasks independently.
Compassion, empathy, and desire to help children and teens.
Successfully complete all required training related to the KidsTLC Certified Nursing Assistant position.
Language Ability
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in reading and interpreting insurance forms, contracts, and clinical documentation.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
