Responsibilities
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the effective daily care and activities of clients on the assigned Unit, including transportation, as directed.
- Work with agency leaders, therapists, and others to ensure a working knowledge of the treatment plan of each client, maintaining confidentiality.
- Learn, implement, and utilize teaching models (P.A.C.E.) and the agency philosophy (KidsTLC Constitution) to integrate and create a positive learning environment.
- Respond to crisis and conflict in a timely manner with confidence, care and professionalism and report to leaders, as required.
- Maintain and follow documentation and recordkeeping of clients and ensure quality standards and HIPAA obligations are met.
- Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- College credit hours in social work, psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited college, preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Experience working with children in a residential, educational, or clinical environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust, confidence, and mutual respect.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
