KidsPeace is seeking a full-time Human Resources Onboarding Specialist to support our Human Resources Department and lead the onboarding process for new employees. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys working with people, managing details, and ensuring a positive first experience for new hires in a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department
- Coordinate and administer all aspects of the new-hire onboarding process, including orientation, background checks, required clearances, and documentation tracking
- Prepare, maintain, and audit employee files in compliance with policy and confidentiality
- Create and maintain employee records and complete orientation registrations
- Serve as backup support for HR filing for current and terminated employees
- Utilize Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms to collaborate effectively
- Create, edit, and manage HR documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Prior HR, onboarding, or administrative experience preferred
