Responsibilities for Infant Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
Qualifications for Infant Teacher
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority (EDU 119)
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
- Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
- Ability to work a shift in between 6:30 am -5:30 pm that changes weekly
- Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
