Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate early childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among 4-year-old children.
- Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional well-being.
- Support children’s individual needs through early intervention techniques and special education strategies when necessary.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards and policies.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in an early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and childcare best practices.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical education, and sensory activities aligned with Montessori or similar educational philosophies.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques for young children.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.

Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
