Duties
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development
- Monitor infants’ health and developmental milestones, communicating with parents or guardians regularly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety regulations
- Assist with feeding routines, diapering, nap schedules, and other daily care needs with patience and professionalism
- Support positive behavior management strategies to foster a calm and respectful atmosphere
- Collaborate with team members to plan educational activities that encourage curiosity and social interaction
Skills
- Proven experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
- Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is highly valued
- Excellent classroom management skills combined with nurturing caregiving techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, guardians, and team members about each child's progress
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for infants and young children
