Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Elementary Teacher to inspire and nurture students in grades K through 3rd. Duties

• Develop and implement Montessori-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles across core subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for each child's individual learning pace.
• Assess student performance regularly through observations and other means to tailor instruction effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress meticulously, providing timely feedback to students and parents to support continuous growth.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques that foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while maintaining high-quality instruction aligned with Montessori principles.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, other) at elementary level.
• Proven experience teaching elementary-aged children within a Montessori environment or similar progressive educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, colleagues, and administrators effectively.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and foster a respectful learning community.
• Experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring early intervention or behavioral support.
• Writing skills necessary for detailed documentation of student progress reports and instructional plans.
