- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of children, including preschoolers and toddlers
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Facilitate age-appropriate learning activities focusing on literacy education, math, physical education, and early intervention techniques
- Support children with special educational needs by adapting lessons and utilizing specialized strategies in line with best practices in childhood development and child welfare
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies as appropriate
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Previous experience in private school environments or daycare centers enhances your candidacy
- Knowledge of teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods supports your ability to deliver comprehensive early childhood instruction
