Duties
- Supervise children in a safe, caring environment, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play, arts and crafts, and educational exercises
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to support a healthy learning space
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns
- Follow all safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and addressing minor behavioral issues
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine childcare tasks as needed
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly
- Collaborate with full-time staff to ensure continuity of care and consistent educational practices
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure safety during emergencies
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working within daycare center environments or similar childcare facilities is advantageous
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare

Pay: $32.50 - $65.00 per day
