Responsibilities
- Work 1 on 1 with a child or adult with special needs and follow the treatment plan to improve the clients life.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each client's needs.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions.
- Support patient assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations under supervision to help develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate medical documentation.
- Support clients during therapy sessions, providing patience and encouragement to foster engagement and learning.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress, treatment notes, and medical documentation in accordance with privacy regulations.
Requirements

- Bilingual in spanish preferred
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress accurately.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment focused on patient care and behavioral health.
