Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare/Certified Preschool Teacher/Assistant to join our nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in classroom management and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. This role is essential in supporting the growth and development of young children, ensuring their safety, and providing engaging educational experiences. Responsibilities
- Follow the Experience curriculum, create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management techniques.
- Assist with daily routines including meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting that encourages exploration and learning.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience with classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly environment.
- Familiarity with first aid practices; certification is a plus.
- Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous.
