Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher for our Preschool Class this is our school program, to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. In this classroom you will teach a group of 10-15 three to five year old children. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents/guardians, and co-workers. Your energy and dedication will help create a positive foundation for early childhood development, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, gross & fine motor skills, and social-emotional learning.
- Manage daily classroom activities to promote active learning, positive behavior management, and classroom management strategies that support preschoolers.
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through conferences, reports, or informal updates.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and implementing proper childcare procedures.
- Support children’s social-emotional development through behavior management techniques tailored to individual needs and developmental stages.
- Maintain accurate records of progress reports, incident reports, and other documentation required for licensing.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in lesson plans across various domains such as literacy education, math , gross motor and fine motor skills.
- Prior classroom management experience with preschool-aged children age 3-5 years in both private school and daycare environments preferred, not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children’s families and collaborate within a team of educators.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
