Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler development and learning through play
- Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions
- Foster social-emotional growth by promoting positive behavior management and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific activities for toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
- Ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while maintaining a caring demeanor
- Experience with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 - $25.99 per hour
