Our state of the art orthodontic practice is seeking a highly-motivated, energetic individual with a superb attitude and great personality to join our team as our Treatment Coordinator. We are looking for someone who loves life, takes pride in completing tasks, can use time optimally, and has excellent telephone and communications skills. Orthodontic experience preferred, but will consider highly motivated individuals with relevant skills from another field.
Our practice focuses on providing the highest quality care utilizing the latest technology in a personable, fun and upbeat environment. The Treatment Coordinator is an integral and core member of our team, and will be responsible for delivering an exceptional patient experience from the initial call throughout treatment. This position also provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks and projects as well as key day to day administrative office responsibilities.
The Treatment Coordinator must be willing to travel between our Winston-Salem and Greensboro locations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Applicant must enjoy working with both children and adults, as well as, be friendly, professional, and self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills.
- Educating patients about their treatment plan to achieve a high level of patient acceptance.
- Assisting orthodontist in patient exams.
- Presenting fees and cost estimates for treatment, including out of pocket expenses.
- Coordinating written and verbal correspondence with referring offices and doctors.
- Communicating with patients and ability to handle challenging questions in an appropriate manner.
- Managing patient schedule
Qualifications and Skills
* Past customer service experience required.
* Knowledge of social media.
* Bilingual is a plus.
* Computer literacy.
* Superior management of one-on-one consultations.
* Excellent ability to communicate in an upbeat and positive manner with patients, peers, and management.
* Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in the office and on the telephone.
* Ability to complete tasks, while being attentive to patients and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
* Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
* Able to multi-task, and willing to learn new techniques.
