Job Posting: Hiring Full-Time Assistant Teachers & Lead Teachers
Kid’s Court is looking for full-time qualified individuals to join our team! We are located in Vicksburg off Sprinkle Rd. and open from 7am to 5:30pm. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are outgoing, team players, nurturing, and personable. Job qualifications, responsibilities, and benefits are listed below. Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to kneel, lift, bend, and carry children up to 40 pounds.
- Possess a High School Diploma.
- Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Must complete health and safety state trainings prior to start date, if hired.
- Experience of at least 1 year in early childhood is preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Must attend training to become CPR/First-Aid Certified.
- Lead Teachers must have a CDA or higher.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work as a team to ensure the health and safety of all children.
- Must have excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents.
- Must be able to maintain a safe, fun, and positive learning environment for all staff and children.
- Must be willing to help in any classroom at a moment’s notice.
- Must be able to attend quarterly staff meetings and meet state requirements of at least 24 hours of training annually.
- Must be able to follow a lesson plan and keep a consistent daily routine for any classroom you’re working in.
- Follow center wide menu for breakfast and snacks. Assist with meal preparation for all classrooms.
- Experience with implementing Creative Curriculum lesson plans.
Pay: $13.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
