What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher position at Kids Cottage, Drop In Play & Learning Center?
We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our passionate and dedicated team!
About the Role:
As an Teacher, you will help create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. You’ll support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth while fostering a love for learning. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to support and implement lesson plans in a collaborative setting.
What We’re Looking For:
- State of Delaware Assistant Teacher Certification (required)
- Experience working with infants, toddlers (2’s), or preschool-aged children
- A genuine love for working with children
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a nurturing personality
- A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a classroom and follow a daily schedule
- Organized, dependable, and a self-starter
- Flexibility in availability and willingness to support where needed
