Position Overview:
- Role: Substitute Assistant Teacher
- Location: Anchorage, AK
- Type: Part-Time, on-call, flexible hours based on availability
- Starting Salary:
- High School Diploma/GED: $17.75 per hour
- CDA Certificate: $18.64 per hour
- AA or Higher in a degree related to Early Childhood Education: $19.57 per hour
- Benefits: Includes a $300 sign-on bonus after completing the 90-day probation period
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to classrooms as needed, following provided schedules based on your availability.
- Assist in implementing curriculum and activities that support children's learning and development.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for young children while fostering positive interactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Additional certification or degree related to Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work at various locations as needed.
