Position Overview:
- Role: Center Director
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Type: Full-time, non-exempt position
- In-Person Position: Remote work not available
- Starting Salary:
- Bachelor's Degree: $33.93 per hour
- Graduate Degree: $37.33 per hour
- Benefits: Includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more
- Introductory Period: 90-day introductory period
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers and assistant teachers in their professional development, modeling effective teaching practices, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment in classrooms every day.
- Foster a sense of belonging and safety for staff, families, and children, promoting a positive community atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field is required.
- Leadership experience in early childhood education or a related field is required.
