The Senior Regional Director of the Mid-West Region is a dynamic Operations leadership role that oversees ~30 schools across four states (MO, IL, OH, and NJ), including management of 3 District Managers across those four states. This individual will play a critical role in driving the operational excellence and scalability of our organization in the Mid-West region.

What You’ll Do

• Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement scalable operational strategies that align with company goals and promote sustainable growth across the Mid-Western network of schools.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of both district managers and school directors to ensure the highest standards of operational performance, team engagement, and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to deliver budget in both financial (occupancy, revenue, labor, EBITDA, attrition) and non-financial metrics (NPS, eNPS).
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all schools maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality according to state and federal regulations, as well as company policies. By working closely with our Director of Compliance, conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Oversee operational budgets, cost management, and financial reporting, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business objectives while maintaining profitability. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure operational spending aligns with company financial goals.
• Customer Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience for families, ensuring that every school delivers exceptional care and educational outcomes. Actively engage with families and staff to gather feedback and continuously improve services.
  
  

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit management.
• Previous experience in early education is mandatory.
• Proven track record of managing a P&L of over $20m and leading large teams (both directors and District Managers levels), with a focus on quality improvement and cost management.
• Strong operational, financial, and business acumen.
• Preference for previous experience in Private Equity-backed environments.
