Location: Deltona, FL
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $14.50 – $16.50 per hour (Based on experience and certifications)
About the Role
Are you someone who loves variety and enjoys working with children of all ages? We are looking for a versatile, energetic, and dependable Floater to support our classrooms right here in the heart of Deltona! As a Floater, you are a vital part of our team, stepping in to provide high-quality care and education wherever you are needed most—from our tiny infants to our active preschoolers.

Your Typical Day
- Versatile Support: Stepping into different classrooms to assist Lead Teachers with activities, supervision, and daily routines.
- Engaging All Ages: Transitioning smoothly from rocking infants to leading a preschool art project or supervising a playground adventure.
- Mealtime & Lunch Support: Assisting with meal preparation, serving nutritious lunches/snacks, and helping children develop healthy eating habits and table manners.
- Maintaining a Sparking Clean Environment: Keeping our classrooms safe and healthy by performing daily cleaning tasks, including sanitizing toys, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring common areas are tidy and inviting.
- Nurturing Care: Providing gentle guidance, emotional support, and a safe environment for every child you interact with.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with all staff members to ensure the school day runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements (Florida DCF Compliant)
We take pride in our high standards of care. To join our team, you must meet the following Florida state requirements:
- Background Screening: Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening through the DCF Clearinghouse.
- Training: Completion of the DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training (or a commitment to begin within 90 days of hire and complete within one year).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Health & Safety: Valid CPR and First Aid certification (Infant/Child).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
- Adaptability: A positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to the changing needs of different classrooms and age groups.
