Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is a northern California based practice that offers comprehensive services including preventive dental care, orthodontics and oral surgery for every gap-toothed, mischievous, silly, giggly smile. Our company sees only private-pay and PPO insured patients in beautiful private offices. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Responsibilities
- A self-starter with superb organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate and neat, with the ability to multitask
- An outstanding communicator with excellent verbal and written skills to explain treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements as needed with patients
- A team player who can work independently, is proactive, reliable, punctual, able to prioritize tasks and manage time
- Works well in a fast-paced environment, supports the office culture, and stays strong under pressure
- Learns quickly and has a strong desire to grow professionally
- Coordinate treatments, financial contracts and financial arrangements
- Schedule and verify appointments for patients in person or on the telephone
- Prepare letters and correspondences as needed
- Obtain and review patient information
- Accurately maintain patient information in Dentrix
- Maintain full schedules and an efficient office schedule flow
- Answer phones, take messages, perform call backs and appropriately route calls
- Contribute to marketing efforts and regular team meetings
- Maintain confidentiality of business and patient information
- Sales experience
- Experience in treatment presentations \
- Previous dental front office experience highly preferred
- Loves working with children
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Upbeat personality is a MUST
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean, neat professional appearance
- Knowledge of Dentrix a plus
