$60,000–$70,000 Enrollment Bonuses

KALE is opening a STEM- and AI-focused early learning center and seeking a VDOE-qualified Center Director/Childcare Director to lead operations, grow enrollment, and build a high-quality program.

• Oversee daily operations of a licensed childcare center
• Ensure compliance with VDOE 8VAC20-780
• Lead, train, and support staff
• Manage ratios, schedules, files, and safety procedures
• Drive enrollment & achieve 90% occupancy in 12 months
• Conduct tours & manage parent follow-up
• Lead digital marketing & community engagement
• Support STEM, robotics, and technology-based learning
• Maintain a positive culture and strong family relationships

Meet ONE of the following:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in ECE/Child Development/Elementary Ed 1 yr experience
• 48 college credits (12 ECE) 1 yr experience
• 2 yrs programmatic experience (1 yr supervising) CDA/ECE certificate

Also required:

• CPR/First Aid MAT (or within 30 days)
• 10 hrs management/leadership training
• VA background checks
• VA Preservice (within 90 days)
• DHO & Emergency Preparedness (within required timelines)

• Director/Assistant Director experience
• Enrollment growth & tour conversion success
• Digital marketing/social media skills
• STEM/robotics/coding exposure
• Experience with Abeka, STEM, Reggio, or project-based learning

• $60,000–$70,000 based on experience
• $50 enrollment bonus per child (paid 30 days after start)
• 6-month probation with performance review
