Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
- Support medical documentation by coding diagnoses using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently
- Administer medications or injections under supervision, following proper protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Atleast 2 years proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical, and administarative settings.
- Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery.
