Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Jacksonville, FL. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient care, assist healthcare providers during examinations, manage medical records, and ensure the smooth operation of the medical office. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized environment, preparing exam rooms, and managing patient information with confidentiality. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the care team to provide a positive and effective patient experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including assisting with patient exams and procedures
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with clinical documentation
- Experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling and administrative support
- Skills in Patient Care, including taking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate and confidential Medical Records
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Relevant certification or diploma in medical assisting preferred
