Responsibilities

- Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, activity facilitation, and behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare and incident reports.
- Incorporate specialized educational techniques such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by fostering positive behavior management and conflict resolution skills.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and childhood education best practices.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development and standardized testing when appropriate.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood welfare or physical education are a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management tools, literacy education methods, and Montessori teaching approaches.
