Our preschool in Burlington County, NJ is seeking a passionate and dedicated certified Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team partnered with the Willingboro School District. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in our vibrant classroom environment. You will create engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of three and four year old children, ensuring they thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Your passion for early childhood education will shine as you implement innovative teaching strategies and support each child's unique journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Develop and implement engaging, data-driven lesson plans aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS). Conduct developmentally appropriate activities in a 6.5-hour school day; providing targeted, research-based instruction for diverse learners.
- Student Assessment & Safety: Assess student development (e.g., Teaching Strategies GOLD) and ensure a safe, structured classroom environment.
- Classroom Management: Collaborate with co-teachers to maintain a nurturing, engaging environment.
- Family Engagement: Maintain communication and a collaborative relationship with parents regarding child development and progress.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate: Teacher of Pre-K to Grade 3 (P-3)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Requirements: Criminal history background check, physical exam, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
