Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, motor skills, and language acquisition
- Maintain detailed records of each infant’s daily routines, milestones, and health status
- Collaborate with families to understand individual needs and communicate progress regularly
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively by fostering positive behavior management strategies
- Support the transition of infants through various stages of growth with patience and understanding
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple children compassionately
- Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers
