Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with children in various activities, fostering their curiosity and encouraging exploration through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and adapt curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs or disabilities.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to lead teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- Experience in special education or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A background in behavior management techniques will be beneficial for supporting children's emotional and social growth.
- Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom experience will contribute to success in this role.
