This position reports to the Academy Director and assists and supports the Director in the operations of the academy, specific to classroom instruction, training of new staff, and opening/closing duties.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must have an Associate of Arts Degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education
- The candidate must be Director Qualified (DQ) in Illinois.
- 1-year experience working in a Childcare center.
- Candidate must meet state minimum requirements for education and experience.
- Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist-high.
- The ability to work independently and as a team member
- Exemplary commitment to customer service
- Must be an effective outward communicator and listener
