Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher

Overview

As the Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher, you’ll create a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers can explore, learn, and build confidence. You’ll guide daily routines, develop age-appropriate lessons, and partner with families to support each child’s growth. Duties

• Develop curriculum and lesson plans that introduce early literacy, math, movement, and childhood development through play.
• Lead teaching and child development instruction; observe children’s progress and adapt activities to their needs.
• Manage classroom routines and behavior with consistent, age-appropriate guidance.
• Communicate with parents about children’s learning, behavior, and well-being; collaborate on support, including special education or early intervention needs.
• Maintain a safe childcare environment, follow child welfare practices and mandated reporting laws, and apply first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures when needed.

Requirements

• Experience working with children and teaching young children; toddler care, preschool teaching, or other classroom experience is valuable.
• Knowledge of early childhood education, child development, literacy education, behavior management, and classroom management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with students and families.
• Familiarity with special education, early intervention, child welfare, and mandated reporting laws is preferred.
• First aid and CPR credentials are preferred. Preschool or private school experience, tutoring, physical education, standardized testing, and math instruction are additional assets.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
