The director's responsibilities include the following:
- Support daily operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality program
- Step in as acting Director when needed
- Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, hiring, and onboarding
- Help maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and Kiddie Academy procedures Assistant Director
- Build strong relationships with families and provide excellent customer service
- Conduct tours and follow up with prospective families to drive enrollment
- Support marketing efforts including events, open houses, and community outreach
- Assist with record keeping, licensing requirements, and administrative tasks
- Help manage classroom quality and support teachers in implementing curriculum
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and support staff
- Address parent concerns professionally and proactively
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Assistant Director
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center Assistant Director
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with licensing, compliance, and staff supervision preferred
- Passion for early childhood education and team development
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults
- Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Kiddie Academy of Firewheel is conveniently located. Our academy offers programs from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten as well as After-School programs for Elementary School Students. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
