We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. A strong background in early childhood education and experience with various teaching methodologies is highly desirable.

Our Pre-K classroom has 21 children with a Lead teacher and two assistant teachers. We are looking for a co-teacher or assistant to join our Pre-K classroom.

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in key areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observation and documentation, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to encourage open communication regarding children's development.
- Incorporate play-based learning activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity among preschoolers.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development to enhance educational offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes exploration and discovery.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered teaching approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports children's emotional well-being.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or private school setting is preferred.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
