Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher Breaker to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will support classroom safety, assist with child supervision, and help maintain a positive learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating a nurturing space where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills for their future.
Duties
- Monitor classroom activities to ensure safety and engagement of all children
- Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times
- Enforce behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and spaces
- Respond promptly to children's needs, providing comfort and guidance
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being
Skills
- Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (Child/Infant/Adult First Aid) preferred
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with children’s families
- Ability to follow safety protocols, including mandated reporting laws and childcare regulations

We are looking for someone to help with teacher breaks and assistance in classrooms in all of our age groups from newborn to 5 years old. Timing would between 9:30am-3:30pm!
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
