Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary Software – Digital Engineering Manager to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of next-generation cloud-connected digital solutions. This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership and a passion for innovation.

As a key member of the engineering organization, you will drive end-to-end software development activities, lead high-performing teams, collaborate with global stakeholders, and shape scalable cloud and IoT platforms that power mission-critical safety solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud technologies, AI-driven innovation, cybersecurity best practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development activities for cloud-based and IoT-enabled applications. 
• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient digital solutions using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Firmware, QA, Hardware, Product Management, and global engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions. 
• Drive software architecture decisions, technical strategy, and product roadmap alignment with global business objectives. 
• Ensure cloud security, privacy compliance, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices. 
• Guide development teams through Agile methodologies, code reviews, technical mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Promote innovation and AI adoption across projects and engineering processes. 
• Oversee CI/CD implementation, DevOps workflows, automated testing, and release management. 
• Monitor project execution, ensure milestone achievement, and provide constructive performance feedback to team members. 
• Support development of simulators, automation frameworks, and system integration tools. 
• Participate in vendor evaluation and technical outsourcing decisions when required. 

Required Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent. 
• 17 years of experience in software design, development, architecture, and engineering leadership roles. 
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams and driving technical excellence. 

Primary Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, C#, and .NET application development. 
• Hands-on experience with Azure IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Services (DPS), Azure Functions, App Services, and serverless cloud architectures. 
• Experience with SQL Server and enterprise-grade database design. 
• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and cloud identity/security management. 
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as Azure DevOps, CodePipeline, or equivalent platforms. 
• Proficiency in Git-based version control systems including Bitbucket. 
• Experience in ASP.NET, REST APIs, and Web API development. 
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and exposure to security tools such as Black Duck and Polaris. 
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate globally. 
• Experience working in Agile development environments. 
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and develop engineering teams. 
• Experience conducting performance reviews, goal setting, and talent development discussions. 

Good to Have

• Exposure to Angular, mobile application development, and automation tools. 
• Experience in Fire & Safety domain or Industrial IoT solutions. 
• Familiarity with RRCA and DFMEA processes. 
• Knowledge of AI/ML adoption in enterprise software development.
